Meet Mindy DeLano – Charlotte Area REALTOR® & Relocation Specialist

Hey y’all, I’m Mindy DeLano — a Charlotte-area REALTOR® with Premier South, proud UNC Charlotte alumna, and longtime local. I’ve spent nearly 30 years in the Charlotte region, including more than 20 years as a Huntersville homeowner, helping people make smart, confident real estate decisions across the greater Charlotte area.

Huntersville and Lake Norman are home base for me, but I work with clients throughout the Charlotte region because I’ve found that the real question usually isn’t just, “What house should we buy?” It’s, “What area actually fits our life?”

A lot of people move here thinking they already know where they want to be — Lake Norman, South Charlotte, near family, or close to work — but what they don’t always realize is how different each part of the Charlotte region truly is. That’s where I come in. I help people compare areas they may never think to search and understand the details listing photos cannot show, so they can choose where they’ll actually enjoy living, not just what they’ve heard of before.

I came to UNC Charlotte in 1997 and never really went home. What started as a college chapter turned into lifelong friendships, community ties, and roots in the Charlotte area that still shape how I help people find their place here today.

I built my own home in Huntersville more than 20 years ago and have served as my neighborhood’s HOA president — which taught me how to actually read HOA documents and spot the details that shape everyday life in a community, the things buyers often don’t know to ask about until they’re already living there.

Before real estate, I worked in motorsports and corporate banking, followed by 15 years in healthcare advocacy. That work taught me how to guide people through big, complicated decisions, explain the details clearly, and make sure they understand their options before choosing a path.

When it’s all said and done, I believe buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial and lifestyle decisions a person can make. My job is to help you make the right move with clarity, confidence, and a strategy that actually fits your life.
